BMM & airplanes.

My elementary 6 boys earn a little thing called English Bucks. Basically it's the most genius thing I've come up with to get them to behave/do their homework. If they get a certain amount, they get prizes. Such as, we're going to have an !ice cream party! when they all have ten. They are slaves to the ice cream, let me tell you. Their reaction when I told them "ice cream party" was completely priceless.

Check it.

So today after class our dear little genius Illia made me yellow and green English Bucks. The yellow ones are worth 5 and the greens are 10. He cut them all out and wrote BMM on the backs of all of them. I asked "What does that stand for?" He says with the biggest smile "Bank of Miss Mallory!" Oh yes.
And then he had me sign all of them too. Because "it is better to have protection." Not before he showed me the proper way to do a signature. Which is basically just do an entirely illegible scribble. See the USA 2012 as well. So perfect.

And THEN, while Illia was crafting and masterminding my own little American bank, Illia Homych made me a paper airplane and wrote both their names on it and gave it to me. And here's where it gets really good. You know what he said? He said "Now we can fly on an airplane with you to America!"
My heart melted into a little puddle.

  1. I LOVE it! The thing that cracks me up the most is that there is a Ukrainian boy named DENNIS!
